Politics

So I was listening to a person speak about how that now Obama is President he will cause our debt to rise astronomically. Hmmmm last I checked our debt is already astronomical. It didn't matter who became our president, the debt will never be resolved. Which got me to start thinking.....does it really really matter who becomes president?

Think about it, the average lifespan of a person living in the United States is somewhere between the 77.5- 80 years of age range.

The term of a president is 4 years.

That is approximately 5% of our life. Doesn't seem like too much. If we live to be 80 and each president serves a term of 4 years, that's 20 different presidents we'll see throughout our lifetime. Think of all the different views and policies that we'll see. It's like the stock market, there will be up days and down days, some stable days, but in the end it will always be fluctuating.

In our lifetime we might see:

  • Governments topple
  • Countries crumble
  • Natural disasters
  • Man-made disasters
  • husbands/Wives/Boyfriends/Girlfriends will come and go
  • Family members will die
  • New family members will be born
  • Friends will come and go

Who knows what we might see tomorrow?
